HAVE YOU ever been amazed to find that when our Father gave you comfort
in your suffering, you were then placed in someone else’s life to
comfort them during a similar struggle?
"Our God has said:" in Isaiah 40 verse 1, "Encourage
my people! Give them comfort."
Those involved in First Nations ministry often suffer through numerous
hardships, only to be revived by the Creator’s faithfulness, and then
sent out again to minister comfort to others.
TODAY, I INVITE YOU to pray with me that our Creator will faithfully
continue to comfort our Native American people and those serving in Native
Ministry.
2 Corinthians 1:4-5 says, "He comforts us when we are in trouble,
so that we can share the same comfort with others in trouble. We share in
the terrible sufferings of Christ, but also in the wonderful comfort he
gives.
Ask our Creator to use others to encourage and comfort our First Nations
people and those serving in Native Ministry.
ADDITIONAL SCRIPTURES (4 translations: The Scriptures, CEV, Amplified, KJV):
"The Scriptures" is a translation that includes the original Hebrew names
and has the books in chronological order. The Contemporary English
Version (CEV) is a translation that is written for 'oral tradition'
peoples and it flows well while reading it aloud. The Amplified
version is one where meanings of words and phrases are 'amplified' for
better understanding. The King James Version (KJV) is the
translation that works well with Strong's Concordance. Please also note
the links to Scripture in Cherokee.
2 Corinthians 1:3-7; Romans 15:4; Hebrews
2:18; Hebrews 4:15-16; Acts 14:22.
