DO YOU remember the first time you were encouraged by someone’s
personal testimony?
Romans 10:14 says, "How can people have faith in the Lord and
ask him to save them, if they have never heard about him? And how can they
hear, unless someone tells them?"
Like you, those involved in First Nations ministry are responsible to tell
others about Christ Jesus, as well as share their personal testimony.
TODAY, I INVITE YOU to pray with me that our Native American people and
those serving in Native Ministry will rise up and testify.
Acts 26:16 says, " Now stand up. I have appeared to you, because I
have chosen you to be my servant. You are to tell others what you have
learned about me and what I will show you later."
Ask our Creator to encourage our First Nations people and those serving in
Native Ministry, to tell others about Him, His Son Jesus, and how He has
touched their lives with His Light.
ADDITIONAL SCRIPTURES (4 translations: The Scriptures, CEV, Amplified, KJV):
"The Scriptures" is a translation that includes the original Hebrew names
and has the books in chronological order. The Contemporary English
Version (CEV) is a translation that is written for 'oral tradition'
peoples and it flows well while reading it aloud. The Amplified
version is one where meanings of words and phrases are 'amplified' for
better understanding. The King James Version (KJV) is the
translation that works well with Strong's Concordance. Please also note
the links to Scripture in Cherokee.
Matthew 4:17; Acts 26:16-18; 1 Chronicles 16:8-9; Palms 105:1-2; Isaiah 12:4-5.
BONUS: Luke 2:15, 17, & 20.
