HAVE YOU ever wondered how our Creator and His people might receive your witness or your ministry of the Gospel?

Paul says in Romans 15:31, "Pray that his people in Jerusalem will be pleased with what I am doing."

Prayer for honorable preaching of the Gospel, as well as receiving favor from Believers, was important to the Apostle Paul and is equally important to those serving in First Nations ministry.

TODAY, I INVITE YOU to pray with me that the ministry of our Native people and those serving in Native Ministry will be pleasing to our Creator and His people.

Colossians 3:23-24 says, "Do your work willingly, as though you were serving the Lord himself, and not just your earthly master. In fact, the Lord Christ is the one you are really serving, and you know that he will reward you."

Ask the Creator to allow the ministry of our First Nations people and those serving in Native Ministry to be acceptable to Him and His people.

ADDITIONAL SCRIPTURES (4 translations: The Scriptures, CEV, Amplified, KJV):
"The Scriptures" is a translation that includes the original Hebrew names and has the books in chronological order.  The Contemporary English Version (CEV) is a translation that is written for 'oral tradition' peoples and it flows well while reading it aloud.  The Amplified version is one where meanings of words and phrases are 'amplified' for better understanding.  The King James Version (KJV) is the translation that works well with Strong's Concordance. Please also note the links to Scripture in Cherokee.

Romans 15:30-31 - "But I urge you, brothers, through our Master Messiah, and through the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in prayers for me, unto Elohim, that I might be delivered from those in Yehudah who do not believe, and that my service for Yerushalayim be well received by the set-apart ones," (The Scriptures)
Romans 15:30-31 - "My friends, by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the love that comes from the Holy Spirit, I beg you to pray sincerely with me and for me. Pray that God will protect me from the unbelievers in Judea, and that his people in Jerusalem will be pleased with what I am doing." (CEV)
Romans 15:30-31 - "I appeal to you [I entreat you], brethren, for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love [given by] the Spirit, to unite with me in earnest wrestling in prayer to God in my behalf. [Pray] that I may be delivered (rescued) from the unbelievers in Judea and that my mission of relief to Jerusalem may be acceptable and graciously received by the saints (God's people there)," (Amplified)
Romans 15:30-31 - "Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;" (KJV)

[The One Whom] you are actually serving [is] the Lord Christ (the Messiah)."  (Amplified)

(The Scriptures)
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 - "God chose you, and we keep praying that God will make you worthy of being his people. We pray for God's power to help you do all the good things that you hope to do and that your faith makes you want to do. Then, because God and our Lord Jesus Christ are so kind, you will bring honor to the name of our Lord Jesus, and he will bring honor to you." (CEV)
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 - "With this in view we constantly pray for you, that our God may deem and count you worthy of [your] calling and [His] every gracious purpose of goodness, and with power may complete in [your] every particular work of faith (faith which is that leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).  Thus may the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be glorified and become more glorious through and in you, and may you [also be glorified] in Him according to the grace (favor and blessing) of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)." 2 Corinthians 8:10-12 - "And in this I give an opinion: It is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and were desiring to do a year ago, and now also complete the work, that as there was a readiness in desiring it, so there also should be a completion out of what you have. 2 Corinthians 8:10-12 - "A year ago you were the first ones to give, and you gave because you wanted to. So listen to my advice. I think you should finish what you started. What matters is how much you are willing to give from what you have." (CEV)
2 Corinthians 8:10-12 - "[It is then] my counsel and my opinion in this matter that I give [you when I say]: It is profitable and fitting for you [now to complete the enterprise] which more than a year ago you not only began, but were the first to wish to do anything [about contributions for the relief of the saints at Jerusalem]. So now finish doing it, that your [enthusiastic] readiness in desiring it may be equalled by your completion of it according to your ability and means. For if the [eager] readiness to give is there, then it is acceptable and welcomed in proportion to what a person has, not according to what he does not have." (Amplified)
2 Corinthians 8:10-12 - "And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago. Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have. For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not." (KJV)

Amen (so be it)."(Amplified)
